Fact: I’ve been home for less than 48 hours.
Fact: Even thought it is break, I still wake up at the crack of dawn. (Life’s too short.)
Fact: My cellphone is no longer working due to extensive water damage.
Fact: I left my camera battery in my dorm room 3.5 hours away.
Fact: Thoughts of cheese are making my struggles better.
The class before our final exam in Product Knowledge was all about CHEESE!!! WOOH! I firmly believe that cheese (and chocolate, bread and wine…) makes the world go round.
Ahhh…the power of cheese. It makes the best days seem better, and the worst days seem not half bad. It’s magical.
We started with a toast….*Cin Cin* with skim milk, heavy cream and buttermilk. Would you believe the only milk I dislike is skim! I was lactose intolerant as a child and anything below whole milk tastes watery and awful to me.
Fresh Cheeses.
Semi-Soft.
Rind Ripened.
Grating Cheeses.
Blues…ahhhh bluessss….:)
Asking me to pick a favorite cheese is like asking me to pick my favorite ice cream flavor. I know my favorite is Mint Chocolate Chip, however; I haven’t found an ice cream that doesn’t float my boat. At the end of this tasting I decided I needed to make some serious cheese choices.
The Winners: Stilton and Camembert.
It would have been rude to just pick one.
Cheesy,
Nora
