After a long week at work, I left early on Friday to buy wine and enjoy the sunshine. I purchased this lovely bottle of 2008 Remoissenet Cuvee Tradition 100% Chardonnay to share with my parents. I’ve had my eye on this bottle of wine for a while now. I love a nice oaked Chardonnay. This was lighter than I expected but is a very versatile wine.
And yes, I am home again. This is the last time for the Summer because I had to come back to paint my coffee table (I was stripping old paint off of it last weekend) before the move!
There was also dinner involved. A Grilled Fillet of Sockeye Salmon, Summer Squash/Tomatoes with Cheese and Corn.
And Dessert. Individual Peach, Blackberry and Blueberry Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream. This was almost too comforting. Thank goodness I was already in sweatpants. I think I feel asleep promptly after I devoured this and woke up 9 hours later.
I’m off to do some painting! Can’t wait to reveal the final product. I found the coffee table on the side of the street and it’s already looking beautiful!
Happy Weekend,
Nora
That’s awesome about the free coffee table! Road side finds are such a great way to score a deal. And usually all they need is a little paint and love. I’m sure it’ll look great when you’re done with it!
