Wine-d Down

After a long week at work, I left early on Friday to buy wine and enjoy the sunshine. I purchased this lovely bottle of 2008 Remoissenet Cuvee Tradition 100% Chardonnay to share with my parents. I’ve had my eye on this bottle of wine for a while now. I love a nice oaked Chardonnay. This was lighter than I expected but is a very versatile wine.

And yes, I am home again. This is the last time for the Summer because I had to come back to paint my coffee table (I was stripping old paint off of it last weekend) before the move! There was also dinner involved. A Grilled Fillet of Sockeye Salmon, Summer Squash/Tomatoes with Cheese and Corn. And Dessert. Individual Peach, Blackberry and Blueberry Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream. This was almost too comforting. Thank goodness I was already in sweatpants. I think I feel asleep promptly after I devoured this and woke up 9 hours later.

I’m off to do some painting! Can’t wait to reveal the final product. I found the coffee table on the side of the street and it’s already looking beautiful!

Happy Weekend,

Nora

  1. That’s awesome about the free coffee table! Road side finds are such a great way to score a deal. And usually all they need is a little paint and love. I’m sure it’ll look great when you’re done with it! :)
