Match Made in FLAVOR Heaven

I’m not sure what was up with my hunger today but I was ravenous by mid-morning. Luckily, I brought my last Larabar with me to work. Hello Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Larabar :) , welcome to my world.

Ingredients: Dates, Peanuts, Chocolate Chips (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter and vanilla)*Fair Trade Certified, Salt

I have a sweet tooth. I love chocolate, I love peanut butter and I love them even more when they are together. Aside from mint (I swear, I ALWAYS have mint chocolate chip ice cream on my mind), peanut butter is my favorite partner with chocolate. This bar hit the spot. I was nervous about eating it for my mid-morning snack because I find that pure chocolate is a bit rich and overwhelming on my palate in the morning (Not sure why this is… I’m an odd ball.). The peanut flavor in this bar was prominent and the chocolate chips added a slight sweetness and tender “melt in the mouth” feel. This Larabar is  guaranteed to satisfy all of those peanut butter and chocolate lovers out there!

The new flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip are going to be lovely additions to the Larabar family. Of the four, my favorite was hands down Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. When I received the samples, I thought that carrot cake or peanut butter chocolate chip would win my heart, but I really enjoy the flavor and texture that cashews provide to the date and chocolate mix.

These NEW flavors will be available online on June 15th and in stores in July, CHECK THEM OUT!

Larabar Fanatic,

Nora

Have you ever tried a Larabar? What is your favorite flavor?

(Side note:  Although I prefer some flavors over than others I tend to be a fan of them all.  Depending on my mood  my preference may change, however;  I think Peanut Butter and Jelly may be my all time favorite!)

  2. I’ve never tried a real Larabar because of my allergy but I made my own with dates, sweetened coconut and almonds, and it was awesome!
