It’s luxury snack time! Hump Day just doesn’t seem that bad when you have a GREAT snack in hand
.
Yesterday when I was debating which Larabar to try first, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough had an “eenie meenie-minie-mo” victory over Carrot Cake. I had to try this bar next. I haven’t always been a carrot cake girl, but in recent years I have been inventing new ways to get more of carrot cake in my life, for example: Carrot Cake Muffins and Carrot Cake Oats. This bar was MADE for me!
After reading the ingredients list, I was sold:
Dates, Almonds, Walnuts, Raisins, Pineapple, Unsweetened Coconut, Carrots, Cinnamon and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.
Yum. If you like carrot cake you will LOVE this! Heck, even if you don’t love carrot cake, I still think you will love this! It reminded me of a cross between their Cinnamon Roll and Tropical Fruit Tart flavors; sweet and warm
.
The Larabar label perfectly describes the way I feel about their products (and how food should be in general), so I’ll end my snack time post with that:
“We at Larabar believe that a sound mind, body and spirit are derived from food in its simplest, most natural sate. Made of 100% real food, Larabar is a magical harmony of fruits, nuts and spices that will lift your vitality and provide energy with every bite. Simple. Pure. Delicious. ENJOY THE ENERGY!
Harmonious Afternoon,
Nora

I like larabars, too. Have you tried making your own? They are really easy if you have a food processor!
Just found your blog! Now we are Twitter friends. I love Larabars too, but I always wish they weren’t so many calories! That is my only complaint with them.
